The Write in the Great Southern Festival was a festival of reading, writing, and thinking that brought thirteen inspiring authors from the Perth Writers Festival to Albany for three days of events and workshops. dcdesign used local artist Sandy O’Dougherty's image "Bookbirds" as a creative starting point from which to develop a distinctive branding style for the festival, that was applied to a wide range of promotional materials, including a festival program booklet, posters, flyers, tickets and t-shirts.
dcdesign also worked with Creative Albany - Bookmark to create promotional posters and flyers for their Radio Plays project, where playwrights were invited to write a script for a radio play to be performed live on local ABC radio.
