Albany Surf Life Saving Club

Albany Surf Life Saving Club approached dcdesign to create a photographic collage mural for their club rooms, and supplied a large archive of historical photographs from which we choose a selection of images that best represented the club's activities. As the images were small prints or low resolution digital copies, the challenge was to reproduce them at a large scale without loss of clarity.  Once the design was created, it was enlarged to nearly six metres wide, vectorised and converted to a halftone pattern with a large dot size that appears abstract up close but reveals a clear image when viewed from a distance.

dcdesign has also worked with the club's existing logo to create a new stationery set and season calendar template, and is currently developing branding for the club's annual event series.
